ภาควิชาสถาปัตยกรรม ส่งสริมและยกระดับพัฒนาการเรียนรู้ของนิสิตและคณาจารย์ ผ่านการสร้งความร่วมมือกับสถาบันและมหาวิทยาลัยในต่างประเทศ ในแต่ละปีการศึกษา ภาควิชาฯมีกรดำเนินกิจกรรมต่างๆเพื่อเชื่อมโยงและพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ของนิสต เช่น กิจกรรมปฏิบัติการออกแบบร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยในต่างประเทศ (Architectural Design Workshop) การแลกเปลี่ยนนิสิตระหว่างคณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ จากมหาวิทยาลัยในต่างประเทศ (inbound-Outbound Exchange Program) รวมถึงการจัดให้มีกิจกรรมและการเรียนการสอน โดยใช้ภาษาอังกฤษ สำหรับนิสิตชั้นที่ 4 โดยฉพาะในวิชา ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการออกแบบสถาบัตยกรรมเพื่อเป็นการเตรียมความพร้อมให้นิสิตสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการปฏิบัติวิชาชีพในอนาคต และสอดคล้องกับนโยบายของมหาวิทยาลัยกษตรศาสตร์ ที่ต้องการตอบสนองต่อการเข้าร่วมเป็นสมาชิกในประชาคมอาเซียนของประเทศไทย ภาควิชสถาปัตยกรรม มีความเชื่อว่ทรัพยากรทางปัญญาไม่ควรถูกจำกัดด้วยขอบเขตทางวัฒนธรรม และการนำมาผนวกเข้ากับภูมิปัญญาตั้งเดิม และท้องถิ่นนั้นจะเป็นกุญแจสำคัญในการศึกษาและการปฏิบัติวิชาชีพในอนาคตต่อไป

Our International Perspectives

At AKU, we believe that intellectual resources should not be limited by cultural boundaries, and an exchange of expertise and experiences greatly enriches learning development of faculty members and students alike. At the same time, we realize that thinking globally and meeting international standards while having strong fundamentals of traditional and local wisdom is an important key in today’s education and professional practice. Therefore, we value and pursue active connections and collaborations with international institutions in Asia and other continents, in accordance with upcoming changes in architectural professional practice and services as a result of the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) and Kasertsart’s and national policies in response to Thailand’s membership in the ASEAN Community. In addition to increasing practical use of English in regular courses for Thai students, we strongly encourage participations of foreign students and professors in our community through diverse programs and activities.
